Dance Upon The Lawn

Feel clock turning backwards, hitting my prime,
I’m stepping lively like two decades gone.
Know I now have all the world’s sweetest time;
Sun’s swept away sorrow- left behind song.

Heartache and hatred leave for mortal men,
Feeling the Earth dance with me in rhythm,
Life choking sadness no part of my ken.
Returned to sanguine, spat out caustic phlegm!

Fate may throw great obstacles in my path
But I’ll step around them- lounge in green grass.
Don’t add up my numbers, don’t do the math,
Melancholy age now part of my past.

Choleric bile with fiery Mars?
Left it behind as I reach for the stars!
