All the starry eyed dreamers who ever trod the boards,
Feel Dionysus’ tug to create art that’s adored.

This dreary world we slog through with its cold, gray skies,
Transformed to starlight as choice actors make us sigh.

Gift of heart and soul, in both tears and laughing scenes,
Respite from life’s drudgery, changed lows to serene.

Passing of an artist who loved to make us see,
Now recall in verse theatrical royalty.

Pleased to bear witness to the soul who shared the dream,
Pray heaven lets him know we hold him in esteem.
