Death of sweetest child, extinguished spark,
Left us here crying alone in the dark.
From corpus shell you now have retired:
To heed the call? To fly ever higher?

Words of compassion delivered with care
Fill not the void, nor re-spark vacant stare.
Sermons and crosses and burdens galore
Go unrequited as God we implore.

You with calm hearts buoyed by faith in Him?
Quote soothing phrases of washed away sin?
Loss of a child turns heaven to hell.
I hope you know better, pray you can tell.
