So alluring, must confess, wants her more than the rest
Must possess her if he can: Conquest proves he’s a man
Stakes her, out makes his play, her resistance hopes to slay
Makes a move, opening volley, love is hoped for folly
With precision returns his serve, smiles tightly, steely nerves
Back and forth, slams and lobs, how many hits to finish job?
Spent, exhausted, he plays on, wonders if game can be won
Frustrated gamer leaves the court, hopes next time for easier sport

I was at a Gwen Stefani concert with my darling and was admiring the delicious bits in the audience. (A fault for which she forgives me. I am not only allowed to look I am even EXPECTED to point out the more mouth watering morsels that I see.)
I got a few songs/poems out of that concert!
