I had loosed my breastplate, I had dropped my mail,
my heart was exposed and easy to assail.
Night and day I dreamed of lovely Artemis,
‘twas beneath Hunter’s Moon that we shared first kiss.

Luna’s luminescence made me love her more,
thought I’d found perfection in both face and form.
Visage was a wonder all loved to observe
but no loving heart beats ‘neath her luscious curves.

Cajoled me to open thoughts held in reserve
thought she was rejoicing as her smile observed.
But sonreír she plastered on face was just mask,
emasculating knights seems her errant task.

On our knees we worshiped, “Oh, God!” simple prayer,
aroma of heaven wafted through the air.
Thought on wings we’d flown to shore so far away
did not see stilettos with which she did prey.

Stiletoed my rib-cage, pinpricked my poor heart,
corazon was plaything that she ripped apart.
As Doña Juanita she strung me along
thought we would contamos but she played me wrong.

Like a bird I tweeted joy I found in her
aria she answered now was quite reserved.
I was naught but notch mark, another conquest,
left my heart in ashes, totally bereft.

Without any pretense armor I did shed,
thought amour we’d live in, ridiculed instead.
Now as a knight errant slip my sword in sheaths
as damsels deflower, circle is complete.

Longed for vestal virgin, longed for sacred flame,
seems love everlasting is but sham and game.
I will go out riding with my lance erect
and pierce tender morsels, bring them to my lips.

Ever clasped now breastplate, as plow fields fallow
in the fields quite fertile clad in armor go.
Night and day I dreamed of lovely Artemis,
‘twas beneath Hunter’s Moon that we shared first kiss.
