Morose in mourning,
angry afternoon,
somber come sunset,
blue’s my only hue.
Illusions cherished
have been swept away,
inhumanity
proudly on display.
Mama would scold me
if I’d act basely,
when my reactions

inhumanity
proudly on display.

and Holy Spirit.
Love for each other
we do not display
if our righteousness
on our siblings prey.
World of eight-billion
need to get along,
hatred must not rule
multiplying throng.
Can we be the change
Earth is thirsting for,
can we replace hate,
cherish sweet amour?
Morose in mourning,
angry afternoon,
somber come sunset,
blue’s my only hue.
Illusions cherished
have been swept away,
inhumanity
